What is HETAS and what does it mean to you the customer?

If you see the HETAS registed logo  as shown on this page or on paperwork or the side of a van it means the installer has passed the approval course run by the Solid Fuel Regulatory Body HETAS. This is essential as it ensures the quality and safety of your Multi-Fuel or Woodburner installation.

This means that the installer works to the building regulations set out in document J 2010 and is able to certify their own work and register with the local council. This process is very similar for Gas installation with the CORGI Registration.
